Contrary to most media reports, the Supreme Court of India – vide its Judgment dated 06 May 2013 in SLP(C)* [*See Glossary] No.27335 of 2012 – has not yet formally granted permission for commissioning of the Kudankulam nuclear power plant (KKNPP) in Tamil Nadu.
