Koodankulam Nuclear Power Plant: City to stir on August 5 – The New Indian Express

A collective of political parties and outfits has announced that it would hold protests against the Centre in Chennai on August 5 to demand the closure of the Koodankulam Nuclear Power Plant KKNPP.MDMK chief Vaiko, one of the members of the collective, remarked at a press conference on Friday that the Centre was turning a blind eye to the peaceful protests that have been happening in Idinthakarai for over 700 days now.
